The
Revenue Auditor role is responsible for reviewing wagering transactions from system-generated reports to ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory compliance, and accurate tax reporting and payment. You will be in a positive team-centric environment to accomplish these goals. The role will require adaptability and quick thinking to adjust to ever-changing conditions. The ability to take constructive feedback, learn/apply, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment is a must. This position reports Accounting Supervisor/Lead Revenue Auditor.
Key Responsibilities:• Audit and reconcile daily revenue reports from various satellite sports book locations.
• Analyze variances, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate reporting of revenue.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly revenue summaries and audit reports.
• Communicate findings and collaborate with finance and operations teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain proper documentation for internal and external audits.
• Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay up to date on relevant gaming regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Experience• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of recent gaming audit experience required.
• Work experience specifically in the sports betting industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with casino management systems and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with gaming industry regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
Physical Requirements• Must be able to reach, lift, bend, and kneel.
• Must be able to sit at a computer workstation for an 8+ hour shift.
• Must be able to lift audit boxes independently up to 25 lbs.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support business levels.
