Duties

• Lead structured swimming lessons using a proprietary curriculum that encompasses various skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers, including special needs
• Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and water safety protocols clearly and confidently
• Demonstrate excellent customer service when interacting with customers and swimmers
• Monitor and track participants’ progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust instruction accordingly
• Enforce safety rules diligently
• Foster a fun, inclusive atmosphere that motivates students to improve their skills and enjoy the water
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the pool environment, ensuring equipment is in good condition

Qualifications

• Prior swim instruction experience is required
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and adults of diverse ages and backgrounds
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster positive learning experiences
• Certifications in CPR, First Aid and AED
• WSI certification is desired but not mandatory
• Bilingual - Spanish is highly desirable
