As a System Engineer - Database & Virtualization, you'll design, support, and optimize enterprise infrastructure across database, cloud, virtualization, and hybrid technology environments. This role plays a key part in maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available systems that support our members, employees, and business operations.What You'll DoDesign, manage, and optimize enterprise database environments, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and data integrity practices.Design, implement, and support virtualization and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions.Support cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.Partner with infrastructure, security, application, and data teams to support business objectives.Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and support disaster recovery and resiliency efforts.Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, cloud administration, database administration, or related technology rolesStrong hands-on experience with both relational and non-relational databases ( SQL Server, Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, or similar enterprise database platforms).Experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.Experience supporting VDI solutions such as Azure Virtual Desktop, VMware Horizon, or similar technologies.Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure architecture and integrating on-premises and cloud-based technologies.Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Virtual Desktop, and enterprise infrastructure security best practices.Preferred QualificationsExperience within a financial institution or other regulated environment.PowerShell scripting and automation experience.Experience with enterprise storage, monitoring, and observability tools.Relevant Microsoft, Azure, or VMware certifications.This opportunity may be a strong fit for experienced Systems Engineers, Infrastructure Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Azure Engineers, Database Administrators (DBAs), Database Engineers, Virtualization Engineers, VMware Engineers, Platform Engineers, Systems Administrators, and IT Infrastructure professionals seeking to work with enterprise cloud, database, virtualization, and hybrid infrastructure technologies.Pay & BenefitsCompetitive annual salary ranging from $95,000 - $125,000+ depending on relevant experienceBenchmark-setting medical benefits, plus dental and vision coverage401(k) with employer match and employer-funded pension planGenerous paid time off, paid holidays, birthday time off, Inclusion Time Off, and volunteer timeAnnual bonus reward programCompany-paid disability and life insuranceTuition reimbursementGym membership reimbursementTRUE to Our TeamAll are invited to join TRUE Community Credit Union.
