GateSource HR is collaborating with a Key partner to hire a System Solutions/Sales Engineer to:

<\/span><\/span><\/div>
  • Provide expert guidance on solution design, including system architecture, component selection, cost estimation, compliance checks, and preparation of bill of materials.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Support commercial strategy by collaborating with sales to evaluate and address technical requirements that fall outside standard offerings.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Create detailed and customized technical content for proposals, clearly articulating how the solution meets the client's needs.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and partners by offering strategic technical insight and becoming a trusted advisor.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Perform on -site and remote product demos as needed to showcase system capabilities.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Capture and document customer requirements that are not currently supported, and assist in aligning internal teams to evaluate feasibility.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Participate in internal planning sessions with sales and engineering teams to ensure alignment of technical support with business goals.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Establish and promote pre -sales methodologies and frameworks to improve efficiency and consistency in technical sales efforts.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Deliver impactful technical presentations and live demonstrations tailored to audiences ranging from executive leadership to operational stakeholders.<\/span><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • A minimum of five years of hands -on experience with at least one of the following technology platforms: Motorola, Kenwood, L3Harris, EF Johnson, or Tait.

      <\/span><\/li>
    • In -depth knowledge of radio frequency (RF) systems, including both analog and digital (trunked and conventional) communications architectures.

      <\/span><\/li>
    • Familiarity with backhaul technologies, especially microwave transmission principles.

      <\/span><\/li>
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer -centric approach to technology consulting.

      <\/span><\/li>
    • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non -technical teams in a fast -paced environment.

      <\/span><\/li>
    • Demonstrated capability in managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

      <\/span><\/li>
    • Comfortable with domestic travel commitments of up to 35%.

      <\/span><\/li>
    • Proficiency in preparing and delivering technical documentation, presentations, and diagrams.

      <\/span><\/li>
    • Competence in networking fundamentals and a working knowledge of IP -based systems.

      <\/span><\/li>
    • Exposure to security and compliance requirements related to Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems is considered beneficial.

      <\/span><\/li>
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Visio.<\/span>

      Preferred Education & Background<\/b>
      <\/span><\/div>
      • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.

        <\/span><\/li>
      • Coursework or practical knowledge in RF engineering, circuit theory, and networking fundamentals is strongly preferred.

        <\/span><\/li>
      • Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, network architecture, and cybersecurity principles. Industry certifications such as CCNP or CISSP are a plus.

      • Physical Requirements

      • Must possess fine motor skills and visual acuity to correctly identify and install technical components.

        <\/span><\/li>
      • Requires physical mobility including walking, standing, crouching, kneeling, and reaching.
