Systems Administrator

Education Requirement

• B.S in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. OR
• High School Diploma with Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience working in an enterprise infrastructure environment in addition to the time required in the Minimum Qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1-2 years or more experience with basic deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of:Microsoft Server PlatformsWindows Server 2019 / 2022 OS
  
  • Microsoft Software ServicesWindows Desktop OS
    
    • Microsoft Management ServicesActive Directory
  • Understanding of physical Server hardware and storage conceptsDell PowerEdge, HP Proliant
    
    • Compellent, Pure Storage, DataDomain
  • Familiarity with VMware Virtualization and Management Platforms
    • ESXi
    • vCenter
    • vSphere
  • Familiarity with basic deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of:
    • Microsoft Server Platforms: Basic Knowledge of Windows SQL Server
    • Microsoft Software Services
      • Understanding of Microsoft 365 User Management
      • Understanding of Defender (or comparable security tools)
    • Microsoft Management ServicesSome familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint
      • Configuration Manager (SCCM) or Intune
      • Some familiarity with PowerShell and how it can be used
    • Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, exposure to Microsoft Azure Services (Azure AD, basic governance concepts)
    • Exchange - online or on prem
    • Back up and Recovery solutions - Veeam or similar
    • Ability to assist with data center tasks, including rack and stack of equipment
    • Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment
      • Ability to lift up to 30lbs as part of hardware installation duties

• Working knowledge or experience with the following technologies:

• General knowledge or experience with information security concepts and practices.
• General knowledge or experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS).
• General knowledge or experience with Linux and DevOps technology stacks.
• General knowledge or experience with Container technology platforms.
• Basic understanding of emerging technologies and concepts such as AI/ML, IoT, etc.
• 1 or more Certifications from the following list (or equivalent):Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert.

  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
  • Vmware Certified Design Expert – Data Center Virtualization (VCDX).
  • VMware Certified Advanced Professional-Data Center Virtualization Design.
  • VMware Certified Advanced Professional-Data Center Virtualization Deploy.
  • VMware Certified Technical Associate (VCTA).
  • VMware Certified Specialist – vSAN 2024.
  • Pure Storage Certified Platform Architect Expert.
  • Pure Storage Certified FlashArray Storage Professional.
  • Pure Storage Certified FlashArray Implementation Specialist.
  • Pure Storage Certified Migration Specialist.
