Job Title: Systems Analyst 3

Location(s): Austin, TX


Job Summary:
Seeking a senior Systems Analyst with extensive experience supporting PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, specifically the CAPPS Financials Travel & Expense (T&E) module. The consultant will provide functional leadership, production support, configuration, testing, system enhancements, and project coordination for a large statewide ERP environment supporting multiple government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional expertise for the PeopleSoft CAPPS Travel & Expense module.
  • Configure and maintain Travel & Expense, Travel Authorization, Expense Reports, Cash Advances, Per Diem, Mileage, Approval Workflows, Corporate Credit Cards, Tax, and ChartFields.
  • Support production issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve complex incidents.
  • Perform functional design, create/review Functional Design Documents (FDDs), and implement PeopleSoft delivered configuration features.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot PeopleSoft batch jobs (Run My Jobs/RMJ).
  • Support integrations with Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and legacy financial systems.
  • Participate in fiscal year-end planning, execution, and reconciliation.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, upgrades, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Support P1/P2 Major Incident Management activities.
  • Provide Tier 2 production support while coordinating with Tier 3 Managed Services.
  • Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
  • Participate in audits, executive presentations, user group meetings, and steering committee sessions.
  • Mentor junior analysts and provide end-user training.
  • Follow ITIL-based service management processes.

  • 10+ years supporting PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2.
  • 10+ years PeopleSoft configuration experience.
  • 10+ years supporting the PeopleSoft Expenses module.

  • Experience supporting enterprise financial systems across multiple government agencies.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Senior PeopleSoft Functional Analyst specializing in CAPPS Financials Travel & Expense.
  • Strong ERP configuration and production support background.
  • Extensive experience in statewide government ERP implementations.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experienced in fiscal year-end activities, audits, accessibility compliance, disaster recovery, and enterprise production support.
