Job Summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) is seeking a Systems Application Analyst 3 to support enterprise information technology initiatives within Newport News Shipbuilding. This hybrid role is responsible for analyzing business requirements, supporting enterprise applications, troubleshooting system issues, and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to deliver effective software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, support, and maintain enterprise business applications.
• Gather and document business and functional requirements.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolution.
• Configure, test, and implement system enhancements and upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, business users, and project managers.
• Develop system documentation, user guides, and process documentation.
• Participate in system integration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Ensure application performance, reliability, and compliance with organizational standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience supporting enterprise business applications in a corporate environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with application troubleshooting, testing, and documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP or enterprise application platforms.
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Experience with system integrations and application lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.
