Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Systems Engineer to support the software and hardware qualification testing of our navigation products. This role involves developing test plans, executing verification and validation activities, analyzing performance data, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our navigation systems meet rigorous technical and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Science, or a related field.
6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Experience performing hardware and software qualification testing for embedded or navigation systems.
Comfortable working hands-on in a lab environment with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and data bus analyzers.
Prior work experience in the avionics, defense, or aerospace industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience supporting environmental or DO-160 / MIL-STD-810 testing.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for investigating and resolving unit failures in qualification testing.
Experience leading and directing the work of others.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans for navigation products.
Perform verification and validation activities to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
Analyze performance data and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Support testing in environmental qualification facilities.
