Description
Seeking a senior Systems Engineer to support two secure cloud-based applications and their infrastructure. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team including developers, cybersecurity engineers, DBAs, and system architects. Candidates should have strong hands-on systems engineering experience.
Key Responsibilities
Design and integrate cloud systems and services
Support firewall and network infrastructure
Configure, patch, and maintain Linux systems
Partner with security engineers to remediate vulnerabilities
Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Participate in an on-call rotation after one year on the team
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
11–16 years of relevant systems engineering experience
Strong Linux command-line administration
Experience with Bash and Python scripting
Hands-on scripting experience
Experience working in Agile environments
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience per program requirements)
Experience supporting COTS tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, Nexus, and Jenkins
Work Schedule
Core hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with flexible start/end times
On-call duty phone rotation after one year; occasional on-site response to system issues may be required.
