The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in system architecture development, requirements decomposition, and modeling tools, along with the ability to collaborate in a highly technical, team-oriented environment supporting complex defense systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support cross-functional teams in the development of system-level architecture and requirements.
  • Use Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to evaluate architectural impacts through functional and behavioral analysis.

  • Work in close coordination with customers and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated technical background in architecture development, functional decomposition, and/or allocation of requirements (performance, functional, and interface definitions).
  • Experience with system modeling tools.
  • Prior experience with MSOSA (Cameo), DOORS, or demonstrated knowledge in MDA domain areas.
  • Ability to think critically and communicate concepts effectively through papers, presentations, and discussions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a small team environment.
  • Degree in engineering classification, mathematics, or physics (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience modeling or simulating missile defense applications or similar domains (e.g., air combat, air defense, intercept of ballistic and non-ballistic targets, space vehicles, sub-orbital mechanics).
  • Knowledge of ballistic and advanced threat systems, including aero-maneuvering, hypersonic, hyper-glide, and countermeasures.
  • Modeling and analysis experience across missile defense systems
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
