Job Overview:
This position requires a hands-on individual with experience installing and supporting data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment and performing physical installation and maintenance tasks. This role involves third-shift work, with initial training on a first-shift schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Perform the physical installation, relocation, and removal of data center equipment, including servers, network switches, storage systems, racks, and structured cabling.
• Install, label, and troubleshoot copper and fiber optic cabling.
• Travel to company data center and colocation facilities as required.
• Support a 24x7x365 operation, including the ability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Safely lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work comfortably and safely on ladders and in raised floor or overhead cable environments.
• Follow established safety procedures and data center operational standards while performing all installation and maintenance activities.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a production data center environment.

• Technical data center experience, including server installations, data cabling installation, and data center adds, moves, and changes.
• Nice-to-have skills include electrical or low-voltage wiring and experience in the trades.
• Ability to work third-shift hours (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM) with flexibility to cover weekend shifts after training.
• Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15% as required.

Pay Range: $24 - $27/Hr

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
