The Systems Engineer II will design, develop, maintain, and support Epic reporting infrastructure that includes network, hardware, database, and/or system software components.
Job Summary
Summary Implement, maintain, and support Epic reporting platforms comprising software, networks, hardware, and databases. Responsible for the implementation and support of technical solutions, including platform systems that require critical aspects of infrastructure, network, application, database, and security frameworks.
Essential Functions
Manage day-to-day operations of Epic reporting platforms, including applications, servers, storage, and networked services. Monitor and optimize platform performance, availability, and capacity. Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues across multiple environments. Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency. Contribute to the design and implementation of new platforms and services. Participate in platform upgrades, migrations, and patch management. Support security hardening and vulnerability remediation efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and technical projects.
Qualifications
Education Bachelors Degree Computer Science required or Bachelors Degree Related Field of Study preferred.
Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Yes.
Licenses and Credentials Epic Cogito Systems Administration Certification preferred.
Experience Prior related professional experience as an Epic systems engineer or related Database Administration position of 3-5 years experience required.
