Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for aSystems Engineer (Journeyman) to support the Naval Aircrew Systems program office (PMA-202) at NAS Patuxent River in Lexington Park, MD. PMA-202 includes all systems that directly support the aircrew and troops or passengers in the performance of their missions, and consist of the functional components, internal and external interfaces, and the environment to optimize human performance, protection and sustainment in aviation operations. This position will support the Survival & Resiliency Assistant Program Manager for Systems Engineering (APMSE) to enhance survivability in hostile and extreme environments. This Integrated Product Team’s portfolio includes the survival radios, passive signaling devices, sea beacons and Aviation Life Support Systems such as aircrew survival vests, life preservers, lightweight body armor, buoyant body armor, and survival equipment. This is a hybrid position work is on-site at NAVAIR Headquarters building 2272 several times a week as required plus local telework. Travel requirements are one week per quarter.
