Job Description
The Systems & Process Improvement Analyst provides analytical, facilitation, documentation, and implementation support for university-wide process improvement initiatives.
Working within the Innovation Hub's Systems & Process Improvement Center, the Analyst partners with faculty, staff, administrators, subject matter experts, project teams, and technology partners to understand how work is currently performed, identify opportunities for improvement, develop future-state processes, and support implementation of sustainable solutions.
The position applies systems thinking, process analysis, data analysis, and continuous improvement methods to institutional operations. The Analyst examines the relationships among people, processes, policies, technology, data, organizational structures, and user experience to identify root causes and develop practical improvements.
The position expands the University's capacity to conduct systems and process improvement work. It operates under the strategic and methodological leadership of the Director of Systems & Process Improvement and works collaboratively with Innovation Hub project management, workplace training, change leadership, and technology partners.
This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations, organizational development, public administration, information systems, data analytics, industrial or systems disciplines, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience.
At least one (1) year experience analyzing processes, workflows, systems, operations, data, or organizational problems.
At least one (1) year experience gathering, organizing, analyzing, and synthesizing information to support problem-solving or decision-making.
At least one (1) year experience documenting processes, workflows, requirements, procedures, or other complex information.
At least one (1) year experience working collaboratively on projects, initiatives, or operational improvements involving multiple stakeholders or functional areas.
Preferred Qualifications
Three (3) years experience in higher education, government, healthcare, or another complex or decentralized organization.
Three (3) years experience with Lean, Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, business process management, systems thinking, business analysis, or related methodologies.
Three (3) years experience developing process maps, workflow documentation, business requirements, or other process-analysis deliverables.
Three (3) years experience supporting technology implementations, workflow automation, system redesign, or other operational change initiatives.
Three (3) years experience analyzing operational, performance, or organizational data to identify trends, opportunities, or areas for improvement.
Three (3) years experience facilitating or supporting cross-functional projects, interviews, workshops, process discovery sessions, or implementation activities.
Additional Information

Salary will be between $55,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
