Scope of the Project: Software development and support for custom applications using:

Daily Duties / Responsibilities
- Design, build, and implement custom web applications and APIs with limited supervision.
- Troubleshoot and debug software code.
- Develop and modify new and existing systems using .NET, SQL, and/or similar web technologies.
- Develop data transport methods using XML or JSON.
- Develop reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, or similar reporting technologies.
- Work with the Application Development team on analysis, design, implementation, and modification of computer systems.
- Provide application support for custom business applications and document issues and resolutions.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts to identify system defects and potential enhancements.
- Evaluate the impact of proposed changes to business processes, systems, and technology.
- Assess existing applications based on business needs and best practices.
- Write and maintain technical specifications and technical documentation.
- Coordinate updates to documentation related to test cases and technical requirements.
- 5+ Years of Experience with Developing Web Applications using .NET technologies and/or similar Web Technology (ASP.NET, .NET Core, Blazer, Razer, Python)
- 3+ Years of Experience with developing data transport methods using XML or JSON
- 5+ Years of Experience with UNIT Testing and Integration Testing
- 5+ Years of Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Power BI
- 5+ Years of Experience with COTS and MOTS applications
- 5+ Years of Law Enforcement IT Experience
- 5+ Years of Experience with SQL Database programming and architecture, including developing and optimizing SQL databases, queries, and data solutions to support application functionality and performance
- Experience developing AI Agents or Tools
- Development Experience Using O365 Tools such as SharePoint, Power BI, and Power Apps
- GitHub and/or DevOps experience
- Experience with PowerShell scripts to automate system tasks, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency
- Experience with Developing Test Scripts
- Excellent customer service and communication skills via phone, email, and in-person
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of situations and personalities
- Must be able to efficiently perform both remote and onsite technical work
- May be required to support users at different locations
- Bachelor's Degree
OR - Master's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems/Technology Management
OR - Equivalent Work Experience
