Summary: 

• Serves as primary technical liaison for manufacturing execution and shop floor management systems in aerospace and defense manufacturing environments.

• Provides real-time production support for MES and SAP SFM modules, performance, and data integrity across production shifts.

• Acts as escalation focal point for production anomalies and uses systematic troubleshooting to isolate root causes affecting shop floor workflows, material flow, resource allocation, and genealogy tracking.

• Leads or participates in cross-functional root cause analysis for production downtime, quality deviations, system errors, and data discrepancies.

• Documents findings and corrective action plans in compliance with AS9100 and ITAR standards.

• Assists with system upgrades, patches, parameter changes, and workflow optimizations within MES and SAP SFM.

• Ensures accurate capture of production transactions, labor reporting, material consumption, and traceability data.

• Generates and validates daily or weekly operational reports for production management and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Partners with production supervisors, industrial engineers, quality assurance, IT, and platform teams to resolve system-enabled process gaps and support lean manufacturing initiatives.

• Provides end-user support and guidance to shop floor operators, leads, and engineers on MES and SAP SFM interfaces, workflows, and data entry protocols.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Experience with SAP SFM and SAP ERP modules.

• Strong working knowledge of manufacturing data models, shop floor signaling, work order management, and material traceability.

• Proficiency in SQL for diagnostics and reporting.

• Proficiency in scripting with Python or VBA for diagnostics and reporting.

• Experience with data visualization tools for diagnostics and reporting.

• Familiarity with integration frameworks such as OPC-UA, REST APIs, or MQTT connecting MES to PLCs, ERP, and MOM systems.

• Experience providing real-time production support for MES and SAP SFM during production shifts.

• Experience leading or participating in root cause analysis for production downtime, quality deviations, system errors, or data discrepancies.
