T-Drill Operator

Shape precision tubing that meets customer specifications

We’re looking for a safety-minded, proactive team player to set up and operate a T-Drill machine that shapes metal tubes and pipes to specific requirements. You’ll work with production, supervisors, and Quality to keep work moving efficiently and ensure finished products meet quality standards.

Previous experience with a T-Drill or similar machinery is preferred, but may not be required.

What you’ll do

• Set up and operate the T-Drill machine.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project dimensions and specifications.
• Identify and cut tubing and fittings of various diameters to meet customer specifications.
• Load and secure tubes or pipes, checking alignment before starting the drilling process.
• Monitor machine operation, make adjustments for accuracy, and inspect finished products for quality.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and tape measures.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to support reliable operation.
• Record production runs, materials used, and any issues or discrepancies.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required protective gear.
• Work with other operators, supervisors, and Quality staff to support product quality and production efficiency.

What you’ll bring

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measurements.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating angles, lengths, and material specifications.
• Ability to troubleshoot machine or material-quality issues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• A collaborative, self-motivated approach and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of and commitment to safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Work environment

This is a fast-paced manufacturing role that requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods. The work environment may include exposure to noise and varying temperatures. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds is required.

Salary: $22-$25 hourly.
