Job Description

A Table Games Dealer operates casino table games by managing bets, dealing cards, and ensuring adherence to gaming regulations while providing exceptional customer service. They calculate payouts, exchange cash for chips and monitor for cheating.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Prior dealer experience
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions and pass math assessment.
  • Must be able to obtain & maintain an active Illinois Gaming License.
  • Ability to be physically mobile, and stand/walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Always display a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Capacity to work well with others and handle stressful situations with ease.
  • Possess effective learning skills.
  • Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
  • Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
  • Must be able to work in areas containing dust, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality.
  • Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Regular and punctual attendance is required.

Salary Range: $9.00 - $9.50 (plus tips) depending on experience.

  • Deal cards, spin the roulette wheel, or throw dice, ensuring games follow house policies, gaming, and state regulations.

  • Maintain a friendly, engaging, and professional demeanor to create a positive experience for players.

  • Exchange currency for chips, compute winnings/losses, and accurately settle bets.

  • Monitor table activity for cheating or irregularities and report issues to the Pit Supervisor.

  • Explain game rules and procedures to guests.

  • Other duties as assigned
