Who You Are

As a Talent Acquisition Manager supporting Cloud-Build at Slalom, you will play a critical role in helping scale the teams that design, build, and optimize modern technical solutions for our clients. In this role, you will partner closely with Cloud-Build capability leaders across the Americas to understand workforce needs, shape talent strategies, and hire high-performing technical consultants who can support complex client transformation initiatives.

You will bring a strong understanding of the technical talent market, including experience recruiting for software engineers, architects, platform engineers, data/cloud technologists, and technical consultants across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud ecosystems. Your ability to identify niche technical skill sets, consult with stakeholders, and build strong talent pipelines will directly support Slalom's growth and our ability to deliver meaningful outcomes for clients.

You will also lead strategic recruiting initiatives, contribute to Slalom's employer brand within technology communities, and champion an exceptional candidate experience. Your work will help ensure our talent acquisition approach aligns with Slalom's culture of innovation, inclusion, collaboration, and excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing and recruiting strategies to attract diverse, high-quality technical talent across multiple platforms, technologies, and markets.
  • Partner closely with Cloud-Build capability leaders, hiring managers, and practice leaders to understand business priorities, role requirements, technical skill needs, and evolving market landscapes.
  • Recruit across a range of Cloud-Build roles, including software engineers, cloud architects, platform engineers, DevOps/SRE practitioners, technical consultants, and capability leadership roles.
  • Build and maintain strong knowledge of the competitive technical talent market, including emerging industry trends, in-demand certifications, evolving technology stacks, and regional hiring dynamics.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including talent mapping, sourcing, outreach, screening, stakeholder alignment, interview process management, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.
  • Cultivate and expand Slalom's employer brand by engaging with cloud and technology communities, attending industry events, and nurturing long-term relationships with skilled practitioners.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine recruiting approaches, improve funnel health, forecast talent needs, identify hiring risks, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience through transparent communication, timely feedback, and a personalized, relationship-focused approach.
  • Collaborate with and mentor other recruiters, sharing best practices and contributing to the continued evolution of Slalom's TA processes, technical recruiting strategies, and hiring approach.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of 5 years of talent acquisition experience, with at least 2 years focused on technical recruiting.
  • Proven success recruiting for cloud, software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, or related technical talent.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a wide range of technical and leadership roles, from individual contributors to architects, consultants, and leaders.
  • Ability to understand technical requirements, translate business needs into talent strategies, and consult with stakeholders on market realities, candidate profiles, and hiring approach.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment while maintaining quality, candidate care, and a consultative approach.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, hiring managers, interview teams, and candidates.
  • Experience leveraging recruitment technologies, CRM/ATS platforms, market insights, and social sourcing tools to enhance outcomes.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring.
