    Job Description

Aderant is a global industry leading software company providing comprehensive business management solutions for law firms and other professional services organizations with a mission to help them run a better business. We are motivated by a collective desire to drive the legal industry to the forefront of innovation. With over 2,500 clients around the world, including 95 of the top AmLaw 100 firms, we are changing the outside perception of the legal sphere; where there was once resistance to modernization, we are creating a culture that embraces new ideas and technology.

At Aderant, the “A” is more than just a letter. It is a representation of how we fulfill our foundational purpose, serving our clients. It embodies our core values and reminds us that to achieve success, every day must start with the “A”. We bring the “A” to life by fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and personal growth. We encourage our diverse teams to bring their whole selves to work – ideas, experience, and passion – to drive our mission forward.

    Our people are our strength.

The Talent Management Partner owns the programs that help our people perform and grow. You will run our global talent cycle from end-to-end, support leaders and People Business Partners with performance management year-round, and drive succession planning and talent reviews. You'll partner with People Analytics and Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD) to turn talent data into insight, and you'll lead the change and adoption that gets new processes and tools used well.

This role is a fit for someone who is detail-oriented, credible with senior leaders, and comfortable guiding managers through difficult conversations. You'll have real ownership and the chance to shape how we manage and develop talent across a global organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Run the annual talent cycle, including goal setting, evaluations, and calibration, managing timelines, communications, and Workday processes across a global workforce.
    • Facilitate calibration sessions and help leaders apply ratings and standards consistently.
    • Support managers and People Business Partners with performance management throughout the year, including low-performance situations, check-ins, feedback, and goal adjustments.
    • Lead succession planning and talent reviews, including 9-box discussions, helping leaders identify critical roles, ready-now talent, and development needs.
    • Maintain talent data and succession plans in Workday so they stay current.
    • Partner with People Analytics to build scorecards and dashboards that show leader participation, rating trends, and talent pipeline health.
    • Regularly analyze data to spot gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities, and recommend practical improvements.
    • Partner with L&OD to connect talent data to development programs, manager learning, and leadership content.
    • Lead change and adoption for new talent processes and tools, including communications, training, and feedback loops.
    • Serve as a trusted resource for managers and employees on talent programs and policies.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in Talent Management, HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations, or a related People function.
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of performance management, calibration, and succession planning in a global, matrixed environment.
    • Clear, confident written and verbal communication.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the presence and credibility to be a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
    • Strong project management skills and attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Proficiency with Workday or a comparable enterprise HCM platform, including experience shaping performance system processes and improvements.
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into practical, business-relevant recommendations.
    • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and modern performance management technology, with experience evaluating or scaling them in a live environment, is preferred.
