Position Summary
The Talent Sourcer is Anchor’s hunter. This role finds the commissioning engineers, leads, and project managers our recruiters need to talk to — wherever they are. You will master LinkedIn, Indeed, and TriNet, and go beyond them into Facebook groups, Reddit, Glassdoor, trade and inspector job boards, and industry communities to identify people who match each job description.
You do not need to sell. Your job is to understand the role, find people who fit it, and hand recruiters high-quality, qualified leads. You work hand in hand with the Talent Coordinator and the recruiting team to improve how we source, coordinate, and convert candidates, and you help with initial screens when interview volume is high.
Commissioning (Cx) experience is highly recommended. Candidates who have recruited, sourced, or supported hiring for data center commissioning, MEP, or other mission-critical work will stand out.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Anchor’s job postings in Indeed and TriNet: post, refresh, track performance, and manage Indeed credit spend
- Master LinkedIn (Recruiter / Recruiter Lite) and Indeed resume search; build and maintain Boolean strings for each Anchor role
- Search beyond the job boards — Facebook groups, Reddit, Glassdoor, ICC and inspector boards, trade associations, veteran networks, and industry communities
- Read each job description and grade level, then identify people who match it: discipline, data center or mission-critical years, testing level (L1–L5, IST), certifications, and location
- Screen leads against the Anchor Mission Critical Playbook and hand recruiters clean, documented lead lists
- Respect sourcing rules: do-not-contact firms, location limits, and candidate privacy
- Track source-of-hire, lead-to-interview conversion, and channel cost; recommend where to spend time and money
- Support the Talent Coordinator with scheduling and candidate outreach during peak periods
- Assist with initial screens (IAs) and soft-technical screens when recruiters or technical interviewers are at capacity — using structured guides, not full-cycle recruiting
- Bring ideas to the team on how to improve sourcing, coordination, and candidate flow
How We Work — The Anchor Standard
Every Anchor role is measured against the same standard. In this role, that means:
- Own outcomes together: A lead list is only good if it turns into hires. Track what converts and change course with the recruiters.
- Hold the line under pressure: When the plan is behind, don’t lower the bar — find more of the right people.
- Follow the process even when it’s harder: Respect do-not-contact rules, document every lead, and screen against the JD and Playbook every time.
Competencies
- Curious, persistent researcher who enjoys the hunt
- Strong Boolean and advanced search skills across LinkedIn, Indeed, and open web
- Able to learn commissioning vocabulary quickly (L1–L5, PFC, FPT, IST, MV/LV, UPS, BMS/EPMS, chilled water)
- Organized lead tracking and clean ATS records
- Good judgment on fit: reads a resume and knows whether it matches the role and grade
Education & Experience Requirements
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent, or military experience; associate or bachelor’s degree a plus
- 1–3 years of sourcing, recruiting research, recruiting coordination, or lead generation
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn search and at least one job board (Indeed preferred)
Preferred:
- Commissioning (Cx) experience — highly recommended
- Sourcing for engineering, construction, skilled trades, energy, or data center roles
- LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed Resume / Smart Sourcing experience
- Experience with an ATS (TriNet, Greenhouse, or similar)
- Military or veteran-network recruiting experience
Certifications (Preferred)
- AIRS Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) or Certified Diversity & Inclusion Recruiter
- LinkedIn Certified Professional – Recruiter
Performance Expectations
- Qualified lead lists delivered within 5 business days of a req opening
- Target lead-to-interview conversion rate met (set quarterly)
- Indeed credits used within budget with documented results
- Source-of-hire data complete for every hire
- Recruiters rate lead quality as consistently high
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $50,000 – $65,000 per year (salaried), based on experience and skills

About Anchor Mission Critical
Anchor Mission Critical is a professional services firm purpose-built to support hyperscale and high-reliability infrastructure projects. Anchor Mission Critical provides commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST), QA/QC, and operational readiness services for data centers and other no-fail environments.
Anchor Mission Critical was founded to address a persistent industry challenge: as data center projects grow in scale and complexity, execution quality too often depends on heroics rather than disciplined systems. The Anchor Mission Critical Playbook establishes a standardized delivery framework built on readiness, risk prevention, and repeatable execution — allowing teams to perform at a high level without chaos.
At Anchor Mission Critical, commissioning is engaged early and treated as a leadership function, not a back-end checkbox. Our teams operate with clear delivery cadence, defined readiness gates, and transparent issue management so professionals can focus on doing the work right – first time. Anchor Mission Critical supports both technical and leadership career paths and offers the opportunity to help build durable standards, mentor teams, and grow with a firm designed for scale without bureaucracy.
