Tax Accountant job at System One. Tulsa, OK.System One is assisting a Tulsa family office with a search for a Tax Accountant. This position will report to the Tax Manager and work with a small, collaborative team that is growing. Willing to push start date out until after the 10/15 tax deadline.ResponsibilitiesPrepare a variety of income tax returns for the family office entities and individuals meeting tax deadlinesDetermine estimated tax projectionsStay current on tax law changes and utilize tax research and planning skills to identify and communicate problems and/or opportunities and propose solutions as a family advocateDevelop working relationships with internal and external accountants to improve information sharing, data accuracy and consistencyEffectively communicate results to family members and internally on project informationConsistently be looking for ways to improve processes to gain efficienciesAdhere to company policies and proceduresRequirementsMinimum of 2 years of tax related experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting required, CPA preferredUnderstanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping along with knowledge of tax compliance and all types of tax returns; partnership returns and individual 1040 returns a plusProficient in tax software and ExcelEffective communication skills, both written and verbalStrong time management skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlinesTeam player who treats others with respectWilling to follow directions and instructions from members of managementStrong work ethic with a great attitudeSalary$70K - $90K DOE Ref: #208-Rowland TulsaSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joule, ALTA IT Services, TeamPeople, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
