Location: Bakersfield, CA (Onsite)
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 DOE

This is more than a tax preparation role. You'll advise clients, solve complex tax matters, and play an important role in helping businesses and individuals make informed financial decisions.

The Opportunity

As a Tax Accountant, you'll prepare and review tax returns, research tax issues, and partner with clients throughout the year to provide proactive tax planning and compliance services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships while working on a variety of tax engagements.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns

• Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations

• Assist clients with tax planning strategies and year-round advisory services

• Support tax notices, audits, and correspondence with taxing authorities

• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and deliver exceptional client service

What We're Looking For

• 
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA or CPA candidate preferred

  
  
• 
  

• 2–5+ years of public accounting or tax experience

  
  
• 
  

• Strong knowledge of federal and California tax regulations

  
  
• 
  

• Experience with tax preparation software and excellent analytical skills
