Tax Accountant | St. Louis, MO
We're currently partnered with a well-established CPA firm in the St. Louis area that is looking to add a Tax Accountant to their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their public accounting career who is looking to expand their technical skills, gain exposure to a diverse client base, and grow within a supportive, team-oriented environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing federal tax returns for corporations (C & S), partnerships, and individuals
- Identifying book-to-tax differences and preparing adjusting journal entries
- Supporting tax planning and compliance engagements
- Conducting tax research using online tools
- Assisting with IRS and tax authority correspondence on routine matters
- Collaborating with team members across various client engagements
What they're looking for:
- 1–3 years of public accounting tax experience (preferred)
- CPA eligible or actively pursuing CPA license
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with tax software (CCH, ProSystem fx, etc.) is a plus

Compensation:
