Responsibilities

• 
  
• Oversee multi-state sales and use tax compliance activities, including preparation, filing, payments, and resolution of tax notices.
• 
  
• Review, verify, and maintain customer and supplier exemption certificates.
• 
  
• Perform tax account reconciliations and assist with accurate general ledger reporting.
• 
  
• Research tax questions and provide support to internal departments and customers.
• 
  
• Gather and organize data required for tax filings, reporting, and external compliance partners.
• 
  
• Assist with tax audits, state registrations, account maintenance, closures, and process improvement projects.
• 
  
• Support additional tax-related initiatives as needed.
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field preferred.
• 
  
• 3-5+ years of experience handling multi-state sales and use tax compliance within a corporate environment.
• 
  
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• 
  
• Strong understanding of sales and use tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• 
  
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
