Fast-paced financial advisory firm seeking a tax planning advisor. Primary duties include tax planning and the annual preparation of various federal, state, local, and foreign income tax returns and tax estimates for a variety of taxpayers.

Requirements


  • 4+ years of tax preparation experience
  • Preference for someone with proven ability to perform tax return preparation using Intuit ProConnect or similar tax software 
  • Preference for someone with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office proficiency 

Duties and Responsibilities include:


  • Prepare Federal and State tax returns for individuals
  • Prepare Federal and State tax returns for C Corp, S Corp, Partnerships and Trusts
  • Help advise high-net worth clients on a full spectrum of financial, tax and estate planning services
  • Prepare tax projections, estimated payments and other necessary tax planning in conjunction with financial planning goals
  • Gather information, research and respond to tax notices
  • Bookkeeping, accounting and administrative responsibilities 
  • Review and analyze general ledgers and financial statements
  • Work closely with clients to deliver timely and accurate financial and tax data
  • Prepare and file various local compliance reporting as necessary
