Tax Analyst

In this role, you will…

• Be responsible for timely and accurate insurance tax filings, including:
• State premium tax
• Municipal tax and license fees
• State sales and use tax
• Federal excise tax
• Assist with preparation of the quarterly income tax provision.
• Track and respond to notices from taxing authorities.
• Develop and improve tax team processes, including:
• Calculation of tax estimates and accruals
• Tracking of filing status and payments
• Gathering data for reporting and review
• Coordinate filing responsibilities within and outside of the Finance department.
• Respond to internal and external audit requests.
• Research and document wide-ranging tax topics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are looking for candidates with…

• Bachelor''s degree in accounting.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience with a focus on tax compliance.
• An interest in data analytics and process improvement.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A proven ability to work independently and effectively.
