Tax Associate

**Tax Associate** | Union City, TN (On-site)

A respected regional CPA firm is hiring a Tax Associate in Union City. You'll prepare individual, business, and entity returns and work alongside senior tax professionals on planning and projections. It's a strong launch point for a CPA-track career, with exam support and summer Fridays off.

**What you'll do**

- Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities

- Assist with tax projections and planning strategies

- Support senior staff on end-to-end client engagements

- Help prepare tax provision workpapers and financial statement disclosures

- Research and resolve tax questions with the team

- Meet deadlines with high-quality work

**What you bring**

- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CPA candidacy a plus

- Understanding of federal, state, and local tax codes

- Tax software and Excel proficiency

- Strong analytical, time management, and communication skills

**Pay range:** $52,000 - $65,000 per year
