Tax Associate - Family Office
Tax Associate Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of tax-related schedules and analyses, including book-to-tax reconciliations, state tax analysis, trust tax return attributes, interest tracing, and distributable net income calculations.

  • Support the calculation and documentation of quarterly estimated tax payments, use tax, and business income matters.

  • Assist with the tracking, review, and reporting of Forms K-1 and other related forms for multiple taxpayers.

  • Prepare Forms 1099 by compiling required data, performing vendor analysis, and supporting accurate information reporting.

  • Maintain tax preparation fee schedules and provide related analysis and reporting as requested.

  • Prepare miscellaneous tax and administrative forms.

  • Prepare other reports and projects as requested and perform other duties as may be assigned.

Tax Associate Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Accounting.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a tax related role. 

  • Public accounting tax experience preferred.

  • Strong technical and analytical skills.

  • Understands and can effectively utilize tax preparation software.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying degrees of priority in a clear and concise manner.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including advanced Excel knowledge and experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Perform effectively in a team environment.
