Location: Cincinnati, OH

Overview

A large national accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Manager in Cincinnati. You will manage clients’ tax compliance needs, anticipate tax and business issues, recognize planning opportunities and serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing workflows, deadlines, deliverables and communications.

Responsibilities

• Solve problems for clients in industries such as manufacturing, real estate, professional services and high-net-worth individuals
• Manage engagements and provide knowledgeable review of complex returns, including tax provision work
• Lead tax staff and seniors in a dynamic environment
• Leverage project management, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrate superior client service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's preferred
• Active CPA license required
• Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience, including at least 2 years of managerial experience
• Strong understanding of pass-through entity structures and a general understanding of corporate taxation
• General understanding of partnership taxation, particularly partnership equity investments
