Your Role:

As the Tax Manager - you will manage the integrality of accounting and tax functions and provide technical accounting guidance to ensure conformity with GAAP/SEC/IFRS guidance as well as establish faraday policies. The Tax Manager - Corporate/Commercial is a technical accounting expert, understands the business and aligns with the functional teams to identify new transactions or changes to the business that will have an accounting impact, perform technical accounting research, communicate to the teams and management the accounting impact and document in a memorandum. The Tax Accounting Manager plays a leadership role in the SOX compliance implementation project.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of the Company's U.S. quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations and related financial statement disclosures, including computation of book to tax differences, tracking of deferred taxes inventory, and supporting tasks related to ASC 740-10 (FIN48).
  • Assist in the management of all aspects of income tax compliance including the preparation and timely filing of the consolidated federal income tax return.
  • Assist in tax forecasts with multiple scenarios to aid planning and decision making.
  • Prepare quarterly income tax estimated and extensions.
  • Review fixed asset subledgers and tax depreciation.
  • Research tax issues, review legislative developments and evaluate the impact including tax reform.
  • Support in the management of tax audits.
  • Assist the implementation of proper internal controls and record retention policies to comply with government regulations.
  • Ensure Company's compliance with personal property tax, use tax, withholding tax, 1099's, business licenses and registrations, and other domestic requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • At least 7 years relevant tax experience, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in corporate tax.
  • Proficient in preparing tax workpapers.
  • Strong written communication, verbal communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong ownership of their function.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple complex projects at a high level of accuracy and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters in taxation is highly desired.
  • CPA active/inactive is preferred.

Annual Salary Range:

($100K - $120K DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
