Job Description

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Senior Tax Professional. Support a full-service CPA and advisory firm providing tax, accounting, assurance, business valuation, forensic accounting, and litigation support services to a broad range of clients. Seeking manager level senior Tax Professional to join a growing tax practice. This leadership role is responsible for reviewing complex tax returns, managing client relationships, mentoring staff, and providing tax planning and advisory services to a diverse client base.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and small to mid-sized businesses.
  • Assist with gift, estate, and tax-exempt entity tax matters.
  • Manage all aspects of client relationships in a professional and timely manner.
  • Prepare and review financial statements.
  • Perform audit and assurance engagements as needed.
  • Communicate directly with clients and provide timely responses to inquiries.
  • Supervise, mentor, and review the work of firm staff.
  • Perform onsite work at client locations as required

Qualifications

Must to Have:

  • Bachelor's (Required)
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) license strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of small to mid-size CPA firm experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and time management skills
  • Willingness to travel to clients
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Accounting/Tax Software, and MS Office products

Preferred (Nice to Have) Qualifications:

  • Proficiency UltraTax.
  • Master’s degree in accounting or taxation.

License/Certification:

  • CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) license (Preferred)
