About the Opportunity

Our client, a mid-sized accounting and advisory firm, is currently seeking a Tax Manager in Honolulu, Hawaii. You will be responsible for the accurate, efficient and timely preparation of client tax returns.

Responsibilities

·      Perform technical tax review and approval of all tax returns and governmental tax examinations

·      Delegate responsibility for larger tax returns to internal tax preparers

·      Participate in practice development via referrals and community activities

·      Supervisory duties include the development, coaching, training, evaluation and review of supporting

accounting staff

Required Education and Experience

·      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

·      Master’s degree in Taxation preferred

·      5-7 years of experience in public accounting

·      1+ year of experience supervising and directing the work of Tax Preparers and support accounting staff

·      Current and valid CPA license

What We Offer

·      Competitive Compensation: $140,000 - $165,000
