Tax Manager

Tax Manager, Salary $110-120k + Bonus

CFS has partnered with a growing company based out of Chicago suburbs to identify a Tax Manager to join their team who can support all aspects of the company's tax function.

The Tax Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• 
  
• Assist with preparation and review of individual tax returns
• 
  
• Manage the sales and use tax compliance process, including the management of sales and use tax audits
• 
  
• Manage and coordinate all US federal and state income tax audits
• 
  
• Review Federal & State quarterly income tax estimates and extension
• 
  
• Manage / Review state tax notices and all state tax correspondence
• 
  
• Continuously monitor and identify tax law and accounting changes that have an impact on the company.
• 
  
• Supervise and mentor a direct report
• 
  

Qualifications:

• 
  
• CPA with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax, or a related field.
• 
  
• 5+ years of experience, ideally in public accounting firm.
• 
  
• Extensive experience signing off returns
• 
  
• Experience serving in a role supervising at least one direct report
• 
  
• Strong interpersonal skills
• 
  

Salary range $115,000-$140,000
