Location: St. Paul, MN

Overview

A growing Twin Cities accounting and advisory firm serving construction, real estate, manufacturing and franchise clients, along with professional services, trust and estate and retail niches, is seeking a Tax Manager. You will organize and manage client assignments and projects while coaching, advising and directing team members to meet client and firm expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously and ensure the success of each project
• Prepare and review individual, trust, estate, partnership, corporation and real estate partnership returns
• Review individual returns with multiple complex partnership K-1s, stock options and multi-state K-1s
• Research, interpret and apply the tax code to unique circumstances
• Manage, develop, train and mentor team members and assess performance on engagements and annual reviews
• Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction
• Participate in firm-wide initiatives, including recruiting, and work with partners on proposals and business development

Qualifications

• 5+ years of current or recent public accounting tax experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar
• Active CPA license
• Experience leading teams and mentoring staff
