As a tax manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's tax planning and compliance. You will work closely with senior management, external auditors, and tax authorities to ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities
- Review and file tax returns in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and advise senior management on their implications
- Coordinate tax audits with external auditors and tax authorities
- Manage a team of tax professionals and provide guidance and support as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
- 5+ years of experience in tax planning and compliance
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
