Recognized as a Best Place to Work for 20 years, KLR is committed to fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and innovation.Due to growth, we are seeking a Manager for our Strategic Business Solutions Group to be based in our Andover, Boston, or Providence office on a flexible hybrid basis.ResponsibilitiesServe as a day‑to‑day client contact for assigned engagements, building relationships and supporting overall client satisfactionOversee compilation and review engagements across a variety of industries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely deliveryCoordinate engagement schedules and track progress against budgets and deadlines, escalating issues as neededSupport clients with business and individual tax planning needs, including preparation and review of tax returns, projections, and related advisory deliverablesPrepare and review client billings; support discussions around fees and engagement scope with clients and PartnersSupervise, delegate, and review work performed by associates and seniors to ensure deadlines and quality standards are metCoach and mentor staff, providing ongoing feedback and supporting developmentCollaborate with Partners, Senior Managers, and cross‑functional teams to support client service deliveryContribute to special projects and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environmentOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change from time to time with notice whenever possible, but not guaranteed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field requiredMaster's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field preferred5–7+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or a related field, including supervisory experienceCPA or equivalent professional certification requiredExperience managing multiple engagements and supporting client relationshipsProficiency in CCH Axcess Tax and Engagement, Microsoft Excel and Word, and QuickBooksExperience with BNA Tax and/or ProSystem fx Fixed Assets preferredStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teamsDemonstrated ability to supervise staff, delegate work, and manage projects in a deadline‑driven environmentThis is a full‑time position with standard hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours, including some evenings and weekends, will be required during peak busy seasons.Pay RangeThe salary range for this position is included below.
