    Description

    Tax Manager

    Location: Tampa, Florida


    Responsibilities

    • Manage the preparation and review of complex tax returns for:
    • Individuals
    • Partnerships
    • S-Corporations
    • Corporate and other flow-through entities
    • Conduct technical tax research and develop practical solutions for complex client situations
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering high-level service and proactive guidance
    • Build and strengthen long-term client relationships through consultative engagement
    • Supervise, mentor, and develop tax professionals through coaching and technical leadership
    • Provide direction, challenge, and career development support to team members
    • Identify opportunities to expand service offerings within existing client relationships
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with specialists across advisory and assurance service lines
    • Participate in business development initiatives and help drive practice growth
    • Support firmwide culture-building and community engagement efforts


    Qualifications

    • 6+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting and/or industry
    • CPA license required
    • Master of Taxation (MST) preferred
    • Strong technical expertise across individual and business entity taxation
    • Experience managing multiple client engagements and deadlines simultaneously
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proven ability to mentor and develop high-performing professionals
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
    • Collaborative leadership style with a commitment to client service excellence
    • High level of professional integrity and continuous improvement mindset
