We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Tax Partner to join our growing CPA firm. This role presents an exciting opportunity to make significant contributions to our growing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our tax division, providing strategic tax advice, and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. This is a high-level position that requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of tax legislation, and a proven ability to develop and implement effective tax strategies.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee the management of the tax department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax services to our clients.
2. Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies that align with company objectives and comply with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
3. Provide expert advice on tax issues to senior management and other key stakeholders.
4. Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax legislation and assess their potential impact on the company and our clients.
6. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and expert tax advice.
7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the integration of tax strategies into all aspects of the company’s operations.
8. Manage tax risk and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
9. Represent the company in any tax audits or disputes.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree or CPA certification required.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior tax role, with a proven track record of success.
3. Expert knowledge of tax legislation and regulatory requirements.
4. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
7. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical conduct.
8. Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective tax strategies.
9. Proficiency in tax software and other relevant technology.
