Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Tax Preparer to assist with individual and small business tax preparation, bookkeeping, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare basic individual and small business tax returns.
• Use QuickBooks to enter transactions and reconcile accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with bookkeeping.
• Review financial documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Organize tax documents and maintain client records.
• Communicate with clients regarding missing documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Qualifications

• Previous tax preparation or bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with numbers and deadlines.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
