Location: Wayne, PA

Overview

A nationally ranked, employee-owned accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Senior Manager for a new office in Wayne, Pennsylvania. This is a hybrid position with three days per week onsite.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams and oversee the performance, development and utilization of managers, seniors, associates and staff
• Manage key client relationships and provide strategic tax planning guidance
• Review engagement economics, monitor profitability and allocate resources
• Evaluate significant tax risks, technical matters and quality control considerations
• Develop and implement tax strategies addressing client needs and regulatory changes
• Mentor and coach staff and support recruiting and retention
• Contribute to practice growth through business development and networking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's in Taxation preferred
• 7+ years of progressive tax preparation, review and supervisory experience
• CPA license required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ProSystem Engagement and CCH Axcess
• Construction, manufacturing and distribution, real estate or financial services experience desired
• Strong tax accounting skills, including consolidated federal returns, partnership returns and combined state returns
• Ability to manage staff on multiple engagements
