Tax Senior

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Assist in tax planning and research for clients in various industries.
• Review tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with managers and partners to provide tax advice and optimize tax strategies.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and resolve issues.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff, providing guidance and training.
• Stay updated on tax law changes and assist in implementing relevant changes for clients.

Qualities:

• 2-5 years of public accounting experience in tax.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or tax.
• CPA or working towards CPA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance, U.S. GAAP, and industry-specific issues.
• Proficiency in ProSystems, Excel, and a paperless environment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
