Teacher Assistant

Shepherd's Flock Preschool in Arlington Heights is hiring part-time Teacher Assistants at $18.00 to $18.50/hour. Pick mornings, afternoons, or both, Monday to Friday. No nights or weekends.

As a Teacher Assistant, you'll work alongside the Lead Teacher to run daily classroom activities, keep the room safe and engaging, and give toddlers ages 18 months to 2.5 years consistent, attentive care.

What you'll do

• Support the Lead Teacher in running daily classroom activities
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
• Assist with daily routines, supervision, and age-appropriate activities
• Provide attentive, consistent care to toddlers ages 18 months to 2.5 years
• Work as part of a collaborative teaching team

What you'll need

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience caring for children
• Comfortable working with toddlers ages 18 months to 2.5 years

Pay and benefits

• $18.00 to $18.50/hour

• Mornings: 8:00 am to 12:30 pm or 7:30 am to 12:00 pm

• Split Shift: (Mornings and Afternoons)

*All Teacher Assistant positions are part-time or split shift.
