Position Title: Teacher Assistant (Full-Time)

Position Summary:

The Teacher Assistant supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children. This role assists with implementing daily classroom activities, supervising children, maintaining classroom organization, and promoting each childs social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
• Support children with daily routines, including meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, and transitions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.
• Encourage childrens social, emotional, and academic growth through positive interactions.
• Follow all state licensing regulations, health and safety procedures, and company policies.
• Help prepare classroom materials and learning centers.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
• Communicate classroom needs and concerns to the Lead Teacher and management team.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working with young children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for early childhood education and child development.
• Must meet all state licensing requirements, including background checks and required certifications.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and actively engage with children throughout the day.
• Ability to respond quickly to childrens needs and emergencies.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
