Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Part-Time Teachers Assistant, working from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM. In this dynamic role, you will support classroom activities, foster a nurturing environment, and assist lead teachers in delivering engaging educational experiences for young learners. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a positive, safe, and stimulating space where children can thrive and develop essential skills. Duties


  • Assist the lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities focused on literacy, math, social-emotional learning, and childhood development.
  • Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement.
  • Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies aligned with educational regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that complies with health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, progress, and any concerns about their child's well-being or development.
  • Use educational technologies and computers to enhance learning experiences for children.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs) for children with disabilities or special needs.
Requirements


  • Prior experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom behavior management techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team through strong communication skills and collaboration with teachers and staff.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is required or obtainable upon hire.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using computers and educational technologies to support classroom activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise children safely while fostering a nurturing environment.
