Northern Wisconsin Center (NWC) is recruiting to fill a Limited Term Employment (LTE) Teacher in Chippewa Falls, WI. This position will typically work 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Position Summary

As an LTE Teacher, you will complete functional and standardized assessments, develop individual education plans and provide classroom instruction for students with developmental disabilities and mental illness.

Salary Information

The starting pay is between $29.00 and $32.00 per hour depending upon qualifications. An add-on of up to $2.97 per hour is available for relevant credits that are above those required for certification.

Qualifications

Minimally qualified applicants will have the following:

• Certified or eligible* for certification as a Teacher by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI).
• Eligible is defined as your license application is currently in progress with the WI DPI or you currently hold a license in another state and are eligible to obtain licensure in the State of Wisconsin. License must be obtained by time of appointment.

Well-qualified applicants will also have the following:

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Teacher by the Wisconsin DPI in one of the following areas: Special Education - Cross-Categorical, Learning Disabilities - Secondary, Emotionally Behavioral Disabilities, or Cognitive Disabilities.
