The Goddard School is seeking passionate, nurturing, and dedicated Full-Time and Part-Time Teachers to join our growing team. We pride ourselves on creating a safe, fun, and educational environment where children can thrive and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Position:
- Full-Time Teacher (8-hour shift)
- Part-Time Teacher (flexible scheduling available)
Job Duties:
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that align with The Goddard School curriculum.
- Provide a nurturing, positive, and safe classroom environment for children.
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Maintain daily communication with families regarding each child’s progress, activities, and needs.
- Ensure classrooms meet all health, safety, and licensing standards.
- Encourage and model positive behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to ensure consistent, high-quality care and instruction.
- Assist with daily routines including meals, rest time, and transitions.
- Document children’s learning through portfolios, progress reports, and classroom displays.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in early childhood education or childcare setting preferred.
- CDA, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for working with children and helping them grow.
- Must meet state licensing requirements (including background checks and training).
