JOB SUMMARY
This position plays a pivotal role in providing direct instruction to students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as part of the Program For Exceptional Children within the District''s schools.

a. Participate in required Professional Learning that leads to virtual teaching endorsement
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
a. Follows professional practices consistent with school and district policies in working with students, students' records, parents, and colleagues
a. Demonstrates professional practices in teaching
a. Acts in a professional manner and assumes responsibility for the total school program, its safety and good order
a. Performs other duties as required based on the specific content area taught (such as content-area competitions, after- hours activities, and so on).
b. Plans and coordinates purposeful assignments for paraprofessional(s), other supporting staff, and volunteer(s), and provides input to the administrative staff on the performance of these individuals.
c. Performs other duties as required by the District, the school, or student need.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university required.

SALARY/TERMS/BENEFITS:
190 day work year.
Salary based on certification and experience; placement on the Georgia Annual Salary Schedule and position supplement(s).
