What you'll do

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support the lead teacher and classroom by:

  • assisting with daily lessons and structured play activities

  • working one-on-one or with small groups of children

  • preparing lesson materials and educational tools

  • ensuring the classroom is clean, safe, and stimulating

  • supervising children at all times and ensuring a secure environment

  • providing positive guidance and implementing behavior policies

  • supporting hygiene, nap times and nutritious meals/snacks

  • participating in songs, stories and sensory play

  • following all emergency procedures and safety policies

  • contributing to a developmentally appropriate and inclusive classroom

What you'll bring

  • experience as a Child Care Assistant or Classroom/Teaching Aide

  • a passion for working with children of all abilities

  • strong multitasking, communication and organizational skills

  • ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • a high level of patience, empathy and enthusiasm

  • willingness to learn and follow all policies, including state licensing regulations

  • successful completion of prescreening hiring requirements
