What you'll do
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support the lead teacher and classroom by:
assisting with daily lessons and structured play activities
working one-on-one or with small groups of children
preparing lesson materials and educational tools
ensuring the classroom is clean, safe, and stimulating
supervising children at all times and ensuring a secure environment
providing positive guidance and implementing behavior policies
supporting hygiene, nap times and nutritious meals/snacks
participating in songs, stories and sensory play
following all emergency procedures and safety policies
contributing to a developmentally appropriate and inclusive classroom
What you'll bring
experience as a Child Care Assistant or Classroom/Teaching Aide
a passion for working with children of all abilities
strong multitasking, communication and organizational skills
ability to work independently and collaboratively
a high level of patience, empathy and enthusiasm
willingness to learn and follow all policies, including state licensing regulations
successful completion of prescreening hiring requirements
