POSITION SUMMARY<\/b><\/u>

• Manage and maintain the facility's physical security systems, including burglar alarms, access control, CCTV, and public announcement systems.
  <\/span><\/li>
• Supervise and provide guidance to other security guards, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and updating them as necessary.
  <\/span><\/li>
• Perform guard duties as required, providing support during peak times or emergencies.
  <\/span><\/li>
• Serve as the primary liaison to the Sheriff’s Office and other state and federal authorities, fostering strong relationships to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  <\/span><\/li>
• Design and implement lockdown and other safety protocols in collaboration with the Health and Safety Committee, ensuring comprehensive and effective measures are in place.
  <\/span><\/li>
• Collaborate on state and federal grants and protocols, staying informed on relevant regulations and securing necessary funding for security initiatives.
  <\/span><\/li>
• Regularly update safety procedures and conduct drills to ensure preparedness for potential threats or emergencies.
  <\/span><\/li>
• Serve as the point of contact for the alarm monitoring company, ensuring timely and effective responses to any security alerts or incidents.

    Requirements<\/h3>

    • Must be 23 years of age or older.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Proven experience in security management or a related field.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Working knowledge of basic security techniques.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Previous Military, Law Enforcement, and Government Agency experience is an advantage.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • High School diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University is a plus (not mandatory).<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Authorized to work in the United States<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Valid Class D License<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Valid Class G License<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Valid Class W License (an advantage).<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Must be able to pass a criminal/background check and must be able to pass a drug test spontaneously while employed.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • A minimum of CPR/First Aid/AED for all ages is required.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Possess a valid and current driver’s license.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong command of the English language (Others are an advantage).<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Knowledge of physical security systems and technologies, including burglar alarms, access control, and CCTV.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to design and implement safety protocols and conduct drills.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Familiarity with state and federal security regulations and grant processes.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Advanced physical fitness proficiency
      <\/li>
    • Successfully completed Pulmus7 Basic Training’.
